Douglas White
Douglas James White, the brother of classmate Mary Ellen White Tripp, passed away a month ago in a suburb of Denver, Colorado. From the Des Moines Register:
Douglas James White
Highland Ranch, CODouglas James White, 59, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2011. Doug was born and raised in Des Moines, where he was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School. He moved to Colorado 26 years ago and was a salesman for the L.L. Johnson Co. Doug is survived by his wife, Peggy; and daughters, Jenny (Josh) Cervantes, Sheana Sadler (Justin Rodgers) and Lindsey Sadler; son, Doug (Emmalyn) White; grandchildren, Jade and Dillon White, and Michael and Connor Cervantes, all of Highlands Ranch; brother, Greg (Carol) White of Cumming, IA; and sister, Mary Ellen (Don) Tripp of Des Moines. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Marjorie (Millar) White.
Doug loved, made and gave music to all who knew him. Our souls are soothed by the memory of his music.
