Steve Herrington

July 14, 2018

Some sad news from Sorenson, Steve Herrington’s sister:

My brother Steve was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s in 2011. He retired from AAA in St. Louis in 2010 where he was a Manager of the Database Administers and Web services. Unfortunately his Alzheimer’s was undiagnosed while working and AAA forced him to take retirement at 56 due to being unable to preform his job responsibilities.

In May of 2011 I moved him to my home in the Denver, Co area. In May 2012 we had to move him to Claire Bridge an Alzheimer’s memory care facility due to his declining abilities. He has been there for a year and has adjusted well. He still has many long term memories of his childhood. He remembers his friend from high school named Perry. Not sure of the last name or if he was in this class.

I’ll keep this link and show him the photos and the video of the reunion. …
